We had very specific plans that hinged on being at certain places at certain times during low & high tide. This left about six hours inbetween to kill. Enter: Charming Creek Walkway. It was a trail that followed the Charming Creek railway, which extracted coal and timber from the surrounding bush back in the day. Our reward for the hike was the beautiful Mangatini Falls. The punishment? Torrential rain, lightning, and monsoon winds on the 4km tramp back to the campervan.
