Troy's Notes
I wanted a red bow tie for the Phamaly Gala we attended tonight. Problem was, I didn't know how to tie one and I couldn't find a red one that was pre-tied or clip-on. So I asked the store clerk to show me how. He had no clue! But the lady behind him did. For almost an hour, she demonstrated on me, tutored me, and continuously coached me on how to tie a bow tie. After I successfully completed three ties in a row, she confirmed that I was ready to buy it. For that, I am grateful -- as a perfect stranger taught me a skill I would otherwise never had learned.
